Dr. Baumgarten received his DMD degree and certificates in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the former Director of the Dental Implant Research Center at Penn, a Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics, and Clinical Director of the Periodontal Prosthesis program at Penn Dental Medicine. He lectures extensively nationally and internationally and has authored several articles on dental implants and restorative dentistry.
